Face Specific Conditions

Condition
Rosacea

Rosacea is a medical skin condition characterized by redness and/or flushing of the skin, inflamed sensitive skin, and sometimes acne-like pustules. Common triggers can flare the symptoms.

Condition
Eyes and Brows: tired or heavy appearance

The eyes give a first impression and a gently-raised brow with bright eyes are the key to looking energetic and less tired.

Condition
Double Chin Fat

The area under the chin (or "submental region") can be prone to fullness due to hereditary causes, weight gain or loss of support in the chin and jaw area.

Condition
Facial Veins

Red facial veins on the face may be due to sun exposure, rosacea, or sensitive skin along with other factors. We suggest a personal consultation with our Registered Nurse.

Condition
Enlarged Masseters +/- TMJ pain

Masseter muscles at the angle of the jaws, can be enlarged due to jaw clenching or teeth grinding. Also it can be hereditary. There may be associated pain as well.

Condition
Lips: Thin or Asymmetrical

Lips lose their volume and look more wrinkled or shrivelled as we age, often with lip lines around the edges. Or you may be young but desire fuller or more even lips.

Condition
Looking Tired, Old, or Stressed

There are many factors that contribute to looking fatigued. Lines and wrinkles and facial sagging are common culprits. We suggest a personal consultation.

Condition
Melasma

Melasma is a deeper, denser pigmentation than regular sunspots and may have a hormonal instigating influence such as pregnancy.

Condition
Volume Loss or Facial Shape Changes

Typically we lose volume of our fat especially on our cheeks and temples as we age, resulting in facial descent or sag. This also occurs with weight loss or heavy exercise.
